To mark International Working Women's Day we bring you our annual Women Workers Power episode. Hosted by Genesis we embark on an ambitious 2 hours of connecting and amplifying working women. We start with a chat with Em from the new Black Peoples Union. We are then joined by Penny from Qld Council of Unions, Lovisa from Young Workers Hub, and Claudia from Australian Federated Union of Locomotive Employees. We enjoyed a great chat with Ashleigh and Emma from the Qld Nurses and Midwives Union. Lastly we chat with Val and Dee from Respect Inc to give us an update on the Decrim campaign and a general chat about the challenges Sex Workers face.

We give a comprehensive update on the Deebing Creek Justice - Jarjumbah Protection Site Campaign and their success in Ipswich last week. We also play an interview with members of the NTEU UQ Branch Annie Pohlman, Kate Warner, and Lachie, where we talk about the strike at UQ last Wednesday, what they're fighting for, and how they're fighting for it. We also play an interview with the UQ Union VP of student rights, Ryley Calvert, about how students are supporting the strike.
